Barry "Bear" Decatur

Barry "Bear" Decatur has been teaching Pilates since 2001 and holds mat and equipment certifications with PhysicalMind Institute and Peak Pilates. He is currently obtaining a Mat and Equipment certification from Integrated Balance Pilates. Prior to becoming a Pilates Instructor, Bear played both college and professional tennis and has 29 years of experience teaching tennis. He helped coach Crossroad High School of Santa Monica to a Southern California State championship and recently coached Our Lady of Providence High School to their first the Indiana Sectional and Regional championship Titles since 1976. He hold degrees from Birmingham Southern College, AL and the University of Louisville, KY.
